Town of Bracebridge

The Bracebridge Fire Department

The Fire Department, with its 40 volunteers, is under the "administration umbrella". The staff consists of a full-time Fire Chief, a part-time Deputy Chief, a full-time Fire Prevention Officer and a full-time administration department. The firefighters are all volunteers who spend countless hours training, responding to an ever-increasing number of calls for assistance and going out into the community to pass-on fire prevention information. Each year the Firefighters Association holds fund-raising events to raise money for specialized equipment and the new Bracebridge Volunteer Firefighters Heritage Museum. For more information, contact Fire Chief Murray Medley or Deputy Chief Paul Duff at (705) 645-8258, (office hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday) or go to our website at www.bracebridgefire.com.
